Bold & Beefy Grilled Tomahawk Ribeye

Ingredients

3-4 lb. Tomahawk Ribeye (We choose Marble Ridge Farms!)

¼ cup Blues Hog Bold & Beefy Seasoning

1 can Duck Fat Spray

1 stick Unsalted Butter
-
5-6 Garlic Cloves, Peeled

1-2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
Fire up your Gateway Drum to 400℉ (for sear).
Spray the tomahawk ridge with duck fat spray or brush with olive oil.
Season generously with Bold & Beefy Seasoning.
Place on the Gateway to sear for 3-4 minutes, flip and repeat on other side.
Remove tomahawk from sear and cool drum to 300℉.
Place the stick of butter, garlic cloves, olive oil, and 1 tbsp. of Bold & Beefy rub in an aluminum pan over heat and melt. Stir to combine.
Place the tomahawk on the Gateway and use a brush to baste it with mixture from the aluminum pan, generously coating until internal temperature reaches 125-135℉ for medium rare, 145℉ for medium rare, or 160℉ for well done.
Once the steak reaches the desired temperature, remove from the Gateway and place under a tented sheet of aluminum foil to rest for at least 10 minutes before slicing.
